Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 23, 2026
1. Overview
Flint ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it when you use our website, dashboard, and checkout flows.
We operate a no-KYC seller platform: we do not run identity verification as part of normal signup. We still process personal data needed to run accounts, payments, and support.
2. Data we collect
Sellers — email, password (hashed by our auth provider), name if provided, store name, payout wallet address, blockchain and currency preferences, products you create, order and balance history, and technical logs (IP, browser, timestamps).
Buyers — email and payment-related metadata required to complete checkout (e.g. amount, product, transaction status). We do not require buyer identity documents.
Cookies — session and authentication cookies to keep you signed in and secure the service. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising on the core product.
3. How we use data
- Create and secure your account.
- Process payments and display sales, balances, and payouts.
- Send transactional messages (receipts, security alerts).
- Prevent fraud, abuse, and platform misuse.
- Improve reliability and fix errors.
- Comply with law when legally required.
4. Sharing with service providers
We use trusted processors to run Flint, including:
- Authentication & database — account and app data hosting.
- Payment infrastructure — to initiate and confirm customer payments and settlements. Payment partners may process data under their own policies.
- Infrastructure — hosting, logging, and security vendors as needed to operate the service.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Retention and security
We retain data while your account is active and as needed for payments, disputes, and legal obligations. We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls, RLS on application data) but no system is 100% secure.
Blockchain payout addresses and transaction hashes may be permanently visible on public blockchains outside our control.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or object to certain processing. Contact us to make a request. We may need to keep some data for legal or payment-record reasons.
7. International users
Data may be processed in countries where our providers operate. By using Flint, you acknowledge that transfer may occur with appropriate safeguards where required.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised policy.
